We intend to hike Pike Peak by Barr Trail ....(http://www.barrcamp.com/index.html)..We hope to do this on August 18th (Third Saturday)..
The trip will take about 10 hours or so just to get to the top. We are not sure at this point how we go back. Options are to take the trail back , take the train back(need a full ticket and reservations), or bother a friend to come to the summit to pick us back up..
